If you’re like most Real Estate agents, you have a real estate database of leads that you’ve connected with over the years.
These leads most likely are buyer and seller clients that you’ve closed over the years along with people you connected with but for whatever reason, they decided not to use your real estate services.
Instead of going into ‘autopilot’ mode during December, like most salespeople, you should focus on connecting with the leads in your database during December.
It doesn’t matter if it’s been one year since you last contacted your leads, as long as you have their contact information, you shouldn’t hesitate to contact those people to see if they might be thinking about buying or selling real estate in 2021.
How To Connect With Your Real Estate Leads
It would be better if you already have your leads in a marketing funnel that sends our regular correspondence to your leads on a monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, or annual basis.
Let’s say that you don’t have a system in place, if this is the case, you shouldn’t hesitate to connect with those people now because you don’t know what their real estate goals are, or if they might know someone that will be needing a Realtor in the coming year.
The easiest way to connect with your leads is via email because everyone has email these days and it’s often simple to write an email compared to other forms of marketing.
As we get closer to Christmas, and the end of the year, you should send each of your leads a handwritten note thanking them for considering you for their real estate needs this year or hiring you to be their realtor.
Depending on the size of your list, you should also call each lead personally to wish them happy holidays and during your conversation with them, you should casually ask your leads about their real estate needs for the coming year.
